Privacy policy

• Enquiries: the name, phone number, email and message you send through a contact or property form.
• Accounts: your email, name, phone number and password (stored only as a one-way hash) if you register, and your Google account email and name if you sign in with Google.
• Listings: the details, photos and contact phone you add when you publish a property.
• Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs, used for security and to prevent abuse.

We use your data to answer enquiries, pass an enquiry about a listing to the person who published it, run your account, publish and moderate listings, and protect the site against spam and fraud. We do not sell personal data.

The site uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms, and an optional remember-me cookie. If analytics is enabled, it sets its own cookies to count visits in aggregate.

An enquiry about a listing is shared with that listing's owner or agent so they can reply. Otherwise data is shared only with service providers that host and operate the site, or when the law requires it.

Enquiries are kept as long as needed to follow up and for our records. Account data is kept while the account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within a reasonable time.
